With the move coming up next week, we've been extremely busy. I'm am getting less, and less organized everyday. Yesterday while rushing to get my chores done, I threw in a load of laundry while I was waiting for dinner to cook. I didn't check pockets. This is unfortunate. Have you ever washed an entire package of cigarettes? It looks like someone ate a bowl of bran flakes and then threw-up on my dress pants.
Edit: I also washed Halls cough candies once... the cherry kind. Really amazing things happen when you put them in the drier. They melt onto your clothes and your socks stick to the drier. On the other hand... my laundry smelled great!

I have not washed cigarettes, but I have washed my son's ipod just hours before his 12 hour flight overseas. :-(

I once washed my son's school sports uniform. There was a USB stick inside - and it came out through everything and still worked perfectly!
If you're on the lookout for a little camera that does everything, has lots of modes and includes a good macro function, I'd suggest the Pentax Optio S10 or Pentax Optio S12. They're between $220-$240 Aussie currency, so they'd be less for you.

I've washed a couple of woolen sweaters that came out about 10 sizes smaller. A friend of mine washed the remote control for the television (nobody knows how she managed to miss that going into the machine) and it worked fine after that. I wouldn't recommend cleaning it that way though.

Ah yes, I have washed my laundry with paper tissues in the pockets and once with a chewing gum. Not nice at all, especially if you are washing black clothes.;)

Oh yes, DH has washed tubes of chap-stick and full packs of chewing gum. Let me tell you, neither of those were fun. And when I was still living at home someone had an ink pen in a pocket...it made it thru the wash ok, but exploded in the dryer. Ummm...fun.
